Xin Zeng is a mutimedia designer who works on 3d art, illustration and moving image. Through visual experimentations, she wants to know whether the virtual, if not false, will become a more authentic existence than the objective world.

AI Lover 

The work explores the popularity of Ai partners, a virtual emotional substitute driven by the "single tide", in the atomized society. Compared with the decline of people's expression of love in the real world and the true catharsis of their hearts in front of their virtual partners, AI is not only given social roles in this seemingly balanced intimate relationship, but also permeates people's self-cognition through ethics, prejudice, emotion, power and other aspects. When the real emotion without place is regarded as a kind of "heresy", can attachment to AI satisfy or lose oneself? I hope to use this work to let people reflect on the contradictory behavior of the original sin of their own emotions and the desire of human beings to obtain "synthetic emotion" through technology personalization under the penetration of modern instrumental rationality.
